YEF Ethiopia Continues Summer Training Through Bible Study and Evangelism

Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) Ethiopia continues its summer training program as members dedicate themselves to both biblical instruction and practical ministry. The program is designed to strengthen future leaders through a balance of studying God's Word, developing ministry skills, and participating in evangelism.

Each morning begins with Bible study centered on the New Testament Epistles, with a particular emphasis on the themes of salvation, faith, and spiritual growth. Brother Samuel Mitiku is currently reviewing the Book of Romans while continuing his study of Galatians, building a deeper understanding of the Gospel and the biblical foundations of the Christian life.

Alongside Scripture study, the training includes practical instruction in ministry skills such as teaching the Bible, writing ministry articles, and communicating the Gospel clearly and effectively. After each session, Brother Samuel records personal reflections on what he has learned, helping reinforce biblical truths while developing the ability to share them with others.

During the afternoons, the team continues its outreach through onsite evangelism in Addis Ababa. Recent outreach efforts have taken place at Addis Ababa University and the Abrehot Public Library, where members sought opportunities to meet students and young adults and invite them to study the Bible. Although the university's academic break resulted in fewer students on campus, and periods of heavy rainfall limited outreach activities, the team remained faithful in sharing the Gospel with those they encountered.

Looking ahead, YEF Ethiopia plans to expand its outreach by visiting additional locations where larger numbers of university students and young people gather. The fellowship remains committed to creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, Bible studies, and continued discipleship.

Through this summer training program, YEF Ethiopia is investing in the next generation of Christian leaders by equipping them with a solid biblical foundation and practical ministry experience. The fellowship asks for continued prayer for Brother Samuel's spiritual growth and training, as well as for open doors to share the Gospel with many young people throughout Ethiopia.
