YEF Asia Pacific regional leader, P. Titus Kang, recently participated in the 4th Lausanne Congress held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from June 22-28. The congress, organized under the theme, “Let the Church Declare and Display Christ Together,” provided an important platform for global Christian leaders to gather, exchange ideas, and strengthen their mission efforts.
Throughout the congress, P. Titus Kang shared meaningful fellowship with various leaders during table meetings held after each program. These discussions helped to deepen relationships and exchange insights on how to further their collective mission.
Among the notable figures present was Eun Yong Lee, a missionary with 33 years of service in Kenya, who also serves as the General Secretary and President of the Korean World Missionary Federation (KWMF). Dr. Yong Soon Yoon, President of People for Medical Cooperation International and Chief of the Rehabilitation Department at Jeonju Jesus Hospital, contributed his expertise. As General Secretary of the Korean Council Healing Mission (KCHM), Dr. Yoon shared valuable perspectives on mission and healing work. Additionally, P. Sungbeom Bu, senior pastor of Vine Church and second general president of the Han Sarang Church Association, took part in the discussions, offering his leadership experience and insights.
A special highlight of the congress was the meeting with Dr. Mark Wagner, YEF Chairman, who had traveled to the Lausanne Congress and spent quality time in fellowship with YEF Asia Pacific leaders. Dr. Wagnerโs participation and engagement with the regional YEF leadership further reinforced the global mission of YEF and strengthened the ongoing efforts to spread the Gospel.
These interactions were invaluable in fostering unity and collaboration among leaders from various regions, helping to build a stronger foundation for mission work both within the Asia Pacific region and worldwide.
