On October 1st, a team of 10 members in YEF Uganda went to the second largest public university in Uganda to spread the good news of the love of God.
They meditated and brought these two Bible verses; Matthew.28:19 and Acts.5:20 where Jesus commands us to go and spread the gospel and also stand for the good news of His word which is the word of life. Uganda staff Wegner shared, “I was amazed at the zeal of fellow youth to serve the Lord, most of the people we met were Christians and were very excited about joining us, they even asked that we can start holding fellowships within the University which we intend to do by the grace of God very soon.”
They received 28 students who are willing to participate and they left them their names and contacts. Uganda Chapter leader Joan also shared, “we thank God for the good work He did in us, that even though some people were resistant, we pray that the Spirit of God shall soften their hearts to accept the truth of the gospel of Christ Jesus.Thank you for praying with us.”
