On May 1st, YEF Atlanta marked the first anniversary of YEF at Georgia State University. Seven members were able to come in celebration of God’s providence over the fellowship. The festivities included a brief history of YEF GSU, a look into the past year, testimonies of the YEF GSU President and others within the club, games, and food.
“Being a foreign student,” Anu, club president, says, “it was really important for me to find a group of good Christian people to help in to grow closer to God while being in a completely new environment. God brought me into YEF and I’m so thankful that He has caused me to meet all of you. I pray that God continues to bless YEF and that everyone in participation here will go on this journey together with us.”
“I hope that one day, all of you could have this kind of testimony,” Danielle, YEF Atlanta leader, concludes, “YEF wants to continue to be apart and help in your spiritual journey closer to God. Let’s continue to pray for the prosperity of God’s kingdom using YEF as a great tool!”
After the presentations, the members shared in testimonies in finding the fellowship and played fun games together until Wednesday service began.
YEF Atlanta regional leader and NA leader, Danielle White, preached the message for the church members, as well as, the YEF members gathered. The students were happy they stayed for the service and felt it was God trying to tell them something great.
