YEF Africa Fellowships Together With O.F. Africa For The Last Sunday in May

On May 31st 2021, YEF Africa was able to host the last OF Sunday Fellowship with other members and Parachurch fellowships in Africa. Through the grace of God, 13 members in total attended, exceeding the previous meeting amount of four members. The message given was from 1 Corinthians 13:3-8, which discussed the attributes of love. The attendees were encouraged to remember the love of Christ and to be an example of that love to others.

YEF Africa representative Anu Samuel shared, in reference to 1 Corinthians 13:3-8, “Whenever we read these verses, let us put the name of Jesus in place of love. Remembering that Jesus is Patient, Jesus is Kind, Jesus does not boast, He does not envy, he is not proud.” She continued “I hope this can be a powerful reminder of the life of our Lord, who we as Christians, are trying to become like.”

Afterward, the members shared the grace they had received from the message along with their thanksgiving for the end of the month. Many expressed gratitude for God’s grace and looking forward to the new month. At the conclusion of the meeting, they prayed for the continent of Africa as well as each other. YEF Africa was grateful to have lead this meeting.

YEF Africa is currently praying and planning ways to increase the attendance of the members, with the hope of building unity and friendships between the members in Africa. Please continue to pray that this precious Sunday fellowship time will always be blessed by the Holy Spirit and that many more members will be able to join consistently.
