YEF Melbourne Hold Student Event with Local Church

YEF Melbourne planned and participated in a picnic event for the students of Deakin University. This event was for newly evangelized students so that members could introduce themselves and they could begin an introductory study to give them more interest. There were 10 students attending the event overall and about five students agreed to continue having Bible study, praise God!

During the event, they welcomed them and then played an ice-breaking game led by Sister Sarah. All the students were involved and everyone testified that it was so fun to play the games together. They then ate lunch together and after that, there was a message shared by M. Daniella. The topic of the message was on the Purpose of Life, which is very related to the students during their studies.

In the end, Bro. Will, YEF Melbourne Chapter leader, shared the vision to form up the club for YEF to build up the community in university and also introduced a “Light Lunch” for bible study.

In following conversations, we found some of the students were showing their interest in bible study. YEF Melbourne prays that they will confirm to come for bible study next week. They plan to have “Light Lunch” which is to invite students to have a light lunch with sandwiches and have bible study afterward on campus. Pray that God will prepare the soils for the seeds.
