In the mission field, there are many things that can go wrong, for example, many people can leave or decide not continue bible studies when they had so much heart to join at first. But, even when these situations happen, there is one thing that they must do. It is rely on the power and work of the Holy Spirit.
As those called to be a teacher and preacher of the Gospel, Christians must understand that nothing can be done well if there is no work of the Holy Spirit. Everyone can evangelize for 10 hours a day and prayer very well but again if the presence of the Holy Spirit is not there, then revival can not come. People tend to fail when they start to rely on themselves instead of relying on God. The key thing that they need to do is, do their best until the end and pray that the Holy Spirit can fill the rest.
For this week, let us meditate on the verse in Romans 12:10-12
“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
We pray that everyone can rely on the Holy Spirit for revival and for everything in their path of faith. May God grow us all to be strong co-workers in Christ.
