In this coming week, the national independence day on the 4th of July, those in the US came to meditate and discover the lyrics of the national anthem for the United States. In the national anthem, the lyrics say,
“O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand
Between their lov’d home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with vict’ry and peace may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the power that hath made and preserv’d us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto – “In God is our trust,”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
As a country that has “In God, We Trust” on their dollars, those in the US remembered the history and meditated upon the building of this country until now. The writer gave thanks to God and praised God for preserving this country. YEF NA wants to evangelize many more people who remember their creator and come to serve him as their God in their youth. Although there are still many difficulties and problems within this country, we all have the hope that through the people of God, it can be changed.
