YEF Orlando currently has 7 to 10 consistent students coming to bible study either once or multiple times a week. In order to keep these students and also continue to grow and develop a Christian culture with the students, YEF Orlando plans to hold more fellowships events that would allow them to apply the grace they received from the bible studies. Many of them are looking for a deeper connection that allows them to deeply fellowship with God and also one another so this is something they also want to provide.
The most important thing is giving the students a sense of community and belonging to the club/ministry. They hope that from these students can more easily invite their friends to join as well as inviting other students on campus and also teaching others what they learned through bible studies as well.
They have many ideas for doing this. Not only having more fellowship events for the students to join but to also have more prayer on the campus and allowing students to be educated through reading Christian books as well.
They hope that the club can be a space where students can truly grow in their relationship with Christ and be kept. They are also praying that in the near future they can acquire a mission center and also even a small space where the students can come often to gather, pray, eat together, study the word of God, and fellowship. In this way, they want to cover all aspects of the students growth; including nurturing them mentally, emotionally, and even physically as well.
YEF Orlando hope to start doing this from this week in a small way through an event but also opening up the schedule for more prayer with the students throughout the day and also fellowship opportunities.
