By the grace of God, Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) Ethiopia has made significant strides in its mission work at Addis Ababa University. Over the past two days, YEF Ethiopia Leader Brother Selemon, have been actively evangelizing on the university’s 6kilo campus, with the goal of finding stable students who are eager to grow in their faith.
During evangelism, Brother Selemon connected with 17 students. While many of these students mentioned that they are currently attending Bible studies with other fellowships, five students expressed a sincere interest in joining YEF Bible studies. Among them, one brother has already committed to starting Bible study this Thursday, a promising step toward building a strong spiritual foundation.
In addition to the campus evangelism, Brother Selemon also reconnected with two former classmates, Nathanael and Samuel, who are now pursuing their MSc programs at Addis Ababa University. Both brothers were grateful for the opportunity to meet with Selemon and hear about the work of YEF. Nathanael has accepted the invitation to begin Bible study and hopes to start soon, while Samuel expressed interest and will confirm a study schedule after completing his current project.
YEF Ethiopia is hopeful that these evangelized students will commit to studying the Word of God and become actively involved in the fellowship. The team is asking for prayers that more committed students from Addis Ababa University will join YEF, and that the seeds of faith planted during this evangelism will bear fruit in the near future.
Please continue to pray for the growth of the mission in Ethiopia, that the students reached will embrace the Gospel and become disciples of Christ.
