YEF HQ Prepares “Walking the Path of Exodus” Summer Retreat

As the summer season unfolds, Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) is preparing for what promises to be a pivotal moment of spiritual renewal and outreach: the upcoming summer retreat. With a heart full of prayer and vision, the team is diligently laying the groundwork to ensure that this gathering becomes a transformative experience for all who attend. This year’s retreat, themed “Walking the Path of Exodus,” draws inspiration from Exodus 6:8, where God declares, “I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.” This powerful promise reflects the heart of the retreat—a call to leave behind spiritual bondage and follow God into a new life of faith and purpose.

This three-day retreat has been planned as a moment to welcome new souls into the body of Christ. YEF has set a clear goal to bring at least seven potential newcomers to the event, prayerfully hoping that this encounter with God’s Word and community will spark something deep within each heart. Through these focused efforts, the team believes that at least two to three individuals will be led to register as members of the fellowship—taking a bold step forward in their journey of faith and discipleship.

Beyond retreat preparations, the local mission team remains active in daily evangelism. Whether through personal conversations, campus outreach, or community gatherings, YEF members are persistently sowing seeds of the Gospel. Their passion stems from a deep conviction that this season holds a special opportunity for revival—one that God is already beginning to unfold in powerful ways. In the midst of these efforts, there is a spirit of humble expectation. The fellowship is not simply working toward numbers or events, but toward changed lives. Each prayer, each invitation, and each gathering is rooted in a desire to see individuals encounter the living God and respond with wholehearted devotion.

As the retreat draws near, YEF invites the broader community to join in prayer—lifting up the mission, the attendees, and especially the newcomers who may be taking their first steps toward Christ. May this retreat be a turning point, filled with divine appointments, deeper faith, and a growing family of believers ready to live out the Great Commission.
