YEF UCF & SSC Concludes Three Day Event : Walking the Path of Exodus

The 2025 Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) Summer Event was a powerful and Spirit-filled gathering where participants from the University of Central Florida and Seminole State College joined to learn deeply about the book of Exodus. Held by the YEF Florida chapter, the occasion brought together members and leaders for a time of deep reflection, biblical study, and joyful fellowship. Through messages, prayer, and community, participants were invited to leave behind worldly distractions and walk more faithfully in God’s calling.

Pastor Rani Reid opened the gathering with a message on the early chapters of Exodus, highlighting the faith of the Hebrew midwives, the protection of Moses, and the power of fearing the Lord. She urged attendees to live with holy boldness and obedience, just as the Israelites did in the face of persecution. Her message set the tone for a retreat focused on spiritual courage and trust in God’s guidance.

Throughout the weekend, Bible studies led by Pastor Danielle White and M. Daija explored key moments from Exodus, including Moses’ transformation, the Passover, and God’s provision in the wilderness. Participants were reminded of the importance of humility, holiness, and full commitment to the Word. Lessons from the burning bush, the Red Sea, and the giving of the law encouraged all to grow as leaders and remain rooted in God’s promises.

Alongside study and prayer, the retreat included joyful activities like Bible-themed relays and games, helping members bond while reinforcing biblical truths. Reflection times and testimonies brought the group closer, creating space for healing, repentance, and renewed faith. One special highlight was the official registration of a young Bible student, Rachel, marking a joyful step in her journey with Christ.

The retreat concluded with a Sunday service on “Preserving the First Grace,” drawing from the latter chapters of Exodus. Pastor Danielle shared a powerful message on law, grace, and God’s dwelling among His people. As the retreat ended in fellowship, worship, and celebration, participants left with revived hearts and a clear mission: to live boldly for the Gospel.

The YEF 2025 Summer Retreat was a reminder that just as God led His people from Egypt to the Promised Land, He is still leading His church today. With faith, obedience, and unity, YEF continues forward—raising a generation that lives for Christ.
