Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) continues to witness God’s grace and movement through the ongoing mission efforts at Seminole State College, where the Orlando Evangelism Team—together with dedicated mission trainees—has been actively sharing the Gospel and leading students into deeper encounters with God’s Word.
This week marked a meaningful milestone for both trainees, Ruth and Jubilee, as they each led their first one-on-one Bible studies. Jubilee had the joy of teaching Romans 1 to Gary, a student at Seminole State, guiding him through the foundational truths of the Gospel. Similarly, Ruth connected with a student named Michael during morning evangelism, and by God’s grace, they studied Romans 1 together later that day. Their fellowship was so fruitful that Michael agreed to meet again the next morning at 8 a.m. for a follow-up Bible study.
In addition to these individual studies, the team engaged with 11 new students on campus, planting seeds of faith and encouraging spiritual curiosity. A group Bible study was also held, attended by three newcomers and four returning students, along with registered member Racheal. The session centered on Romans chapter 8 and provided a welcoming environment for open discussion and reflection.
After the group study, Heeyeon continued with several individual Bible studies with students who had participated in the group session—Jeremiah, Noah, and Emily. She walked each of them through Romans 1, sharing that they grasped the message with both clarity and spiritual depth.
Trainee Ruth reflected on the experience, saying,
“When we went out to share the Gospel on campus, even though there weren’t many people, most of those who were there received us with open hearts; it was truly a grace-filled and interesting experience. It also felt like the mission ministers here have been laying a strong spiritual foundation through evangelism over a long period of time.”
She also shared a deeper realization:
“Bringing someone to God has nothing to do with how well or poorly I can speak. The Holy Spirit is truly the one doing the work, leading us to meet the right person at the right time. This has given me faith that the Holy Spirit is guiding everything… I’m truly thankful for the YEF fellowship that is supporting us in every way… Since everything is prepared, we can now focus fully on the mission… and continue on this journey with light hearts.”
As the Orlando Evangelism Team continues to pour out their hearts in service, we invite you to pray for the team and their mission trainees—for their spiritual growth, protection, and endurance, and especially for the students they meet. May hearts be open, lives be transformed, and God’s Word take root on campus and beyond.
