YEF Welcomes New Mission Trainees and Launches Fall Semester Outreach at UCF

On August 19, Youth Evangelical Fellowship (YEF) joyfully welcomed two new mission trainees, Brother Sungil and Sister Yujin, as they joined the ongoing missionary training at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Marking the second day of the Fall semester, the fellowship continued to labor faithfully for the Lord, embracing each opportunity to share the Gospel with new students on campus.

In a spirit of creativity and prayerful preparation, the team tried a new outreach method by setting up a booth to promote their upcoming retreat. This fresh approach quickly bore fruit, as several students expressed genuine interest and even signed up to attend. It was a moment of grace that reminded the team how God can use even small acts of faith to open hearts and plant seeds for the future.

Later that day, YEF held its first Bible study of the semester, exploring Romans 1:1–17. The passage proclaims the Gospel as the power of God for salvation, and it resonated deeply with everyone present. The fellowship enjoyed a blessed time of study and sharing, strengthened by the Word and by one another’s faith.

Among those who attended were committed member Tamara, returning student Caleb—who brought along his friend Nia—and newcomers Katrina, Jayden, and Becca. While some gathered for the study, other members remained on campus, continuing to invite students to discover the truth of the Gospel.

Looking ahead, the fellowship is dedicating the coming days to preparing for the retreat, which they pray will be a turning point for many students to encounter Christ personally.

YEF humbly asks for continued prayers—for the preparation of the retreat, for the students who have already committed to attend, and for the mission trainees as they grow in the grace, strength, and love of God. May the Holy Spirit guide each step, and may many be led to the saving knowledge of Christ through this campus mission.
