On September 10, 2025, YEF Orlando at the University of Central Florida (UCF) held its first general body meeting of the new school year. Now entering its second year as a registered student club, YEF Orlando continues its mission of reaching students with the Word of God and providing a place of fellowship, growth, and transformation.
The meeting, initiated by student leader Tamara, brought together around 14 students for a time of worship, learning, and connection. The evening began with a lively icebreaker where participants introduced themselves, shared their backgrounds, and expressed their hopes for Bible study this semester.
Pastor Rani gave a short but powerful message from Romans 3, reminding students of God’s unchanging faithfulness and His desire for each of us to grow in His grace. Tamara then introduced the club’s mission and vision, sharing plans for upcoming retreats, trainings, and regular Bible studies. She encouraged everyone to walk diligently in faith and to embrace this year as a journey of spiritual growth and renewal.
Students were deeply moved by the study and shared their reflections:
-
Aida: “The Lord will never hope for your downfall. He always has open arms, but we shouldn’t take His grace for granted. Romans 3:3–4 reminded me that even though we are simply human, God has chosen us and given us His love.”

-
Tyrissa: “God’s grace doesn’t give us the right to keep sinning. Instead, I strive to grow stronger in Him. Romans 3:3–4 shows me that God is forever faithful, no matter what.”
-
Derrick: “God’s truth stands even if everyone were against Him. He doesn’t need me to fulfill His promises, but I need Him every day. Romans 3:4 and Psalm 51:4 stood out to me.”
-
Jairen: “God is just and good. He doesn’t plan our pain, but He can use even our brokenness for good.”
Following the study, students enjoyed fellowship over pizza and received free YEF notebooks. Several new students, invited by a past participant of YEF’s mission training, also joined and expressed excitement to be part of future activities.
YEF Orlando is thankful for what God is doing on campus and asks for continued prayers for the students who joined this first meeting—that they may be strengthened in their faith and walk closely with Christ. The club looks forward to steady growth this semester and remains committed to sharing the Gospel at UCF, reaching out “one more soul” at a time.
