YEF Begins the New Year Grounded in God’s Grace and Kingdom Vision

As a new year begins, Youth Evangelical Fellowship is first reminded that everything starts with the grace of God. Apart from the Lord sustaining us, we cannot stand, and apart from His strength, we cannot move forward. As we look back on the past year, YEF does so with humility and gratitude, confessing that every fruit borne, every step of growth taken, and every moment of protection experienced came not from human effort, but from God alone. With this posture of dependence, YEF enters the new year trusting fully in His leading.

This year opens at a significant moment in history. Change is accelerating across societies, cultures, and nations, and the pace of transformation continues to increase. In times such as these, God’s people are called to discern clearly where history is heading. Scripture teaches that history is neither random nor directionless. All history before Christ prepared the way for His coming, and all history after Christ moves toward the fulfillment of God’s kingdom. The future is not shaped merely by human plans or global forces, but unfolds according to God’s sovereign purpose.

Jesus Christ came not only to save individuals from sin, but to reveal the heart of God and to begin the work of God’s kingdom on earth. Through Christ, God made Himself known, and through His teachings—especially the parables of the kingdom—He revealed how God’s reign advances within history. The kingdom does not begin with outward power, visibility, or noise. It begins quietly in the heart, through faith in the Word, and grows steadily as lives are transformed by God’s truth.

Because of this, YEF encourages its members to return continually to the foundations of faith. God’s kingdom advances when His Word is faithfully planted, when hearts become good soil, and when believers live obediently and faithfully where God has placed them. There may be opposition, delays, or seasons of uncertainty, but God remains patient, faithful, and sovereign. In His time, truth and falsehood are revealed, and His purposes move forward without failure.

As the year unfolds, YEF moves ahead with both confidence and responsibility. This is a season to deepen our understanding of God’s Word, to remain filled with the Holy Spirit, and to live with a clear awareness of sin, righteousness, and judgment. With hearts devoted to God and lives shaped by His truth, YEF continues its journey toward the fulfillment of God’s kingdom, trusting that the Lord Himself will lead every step of the way.
