On Wednesday, YEF Macau participated in an online April ministers gathering for the first time with a grateful heart, receiving encouragement, unity, and renewed strength as the ministry continues to move toward Pentecost.
The gathering began with a sermon based on John 21:3–6, titled, “They Cast the Net, and Now They Were Not Able to Haul It In Because There Were So Many Fish.” The message emphasized the importance of aligning one’s life with the direction of the Lord. Through understanding His love, participants were reminded of the call to repentance, the experience of the cross, and the power of the resurrection at work in their lives.
Following the message, updates were shared on the progress of various ministries, along with testimonies of grace from different regions. These testimonies reflected the continued work of God across nations, encouraging all participants to remain faithful in their calling. Goals and priorities for the coming month were also outlined, with a shared focus on strengthening evangelism, discipleship, and mission development. Updates from regional ministries, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Japan, further highlighted the unity and movement of the global fellowship.
During a time of prayer, a powerful image was shared—three eagles soaring and circling together, and three cords woven into one, strong and united. Even when separated, each remained connected by many strands. This served as an encouragement, reflecting the unity and strength of the ministries as they continue to labor for the next generation. It was also a reminder that the work being carried out is precious in God’s sight and holds significance in reaching and transforming young people.
The three-hour gathering concluded with a time of prayer, lifting up the ministries and the ongoing mission work. Through this time, the YEF Macau minister was strengthened with renewed hope and conviction, moving forward with greater clarity and faith as the season leading to Pentecost continues.
