Despite the persistent rain continuing across Hong Kong in recent days, YEF Hong Kong has continued experiencing God’s grace and encouragement through fellowship, worship, and the study of His Word. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, members have continued growing steadily in faith, and meaningful spiritual changes are becoming increasingly visible in the lives of many brothers and sisters.
Brother James recently completed all of the membership bible study session courses and has continued taking steps forward in his spiritual life. On the morning of May 20, Pastor Andrea taught him from Exodus chapter 1, helping him reflect on God’s guidance and faithfulness throughout history. During this time, Brother James also made the sincere decision to begin regularly attending morning services as part of his continued spiritual growth.
Later that afternoon, Pastor Andrea met with Brother Li Ho-hau at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where they studied Romans chapters 14–16 together. After the Bible study, evangelism outreach also continued on the CUHK campus as the Gospel was shared with additional students.
On May 21 at 6:30 a.m., YEF Hong Kong held its morning service, attended by Brother James, Brother Li Ho-hau, and Sister Yanran. For both James and Li Ho-hau, this marked their first time participating in the morning service as new believers. Through the worship and message, they received encouragement and grace and shared their desire to continue growing and being renewed through regular worship and fellowship.
In the afternoon, Pastor Andrea continued teaching Brother Li Ho-hau, focusing on God’s purpose in creation. Through the study, he testified that he desires to love the Lord above everything else in the world and continue growing in faith through the Word of God.
YEF Hong Kong continues praying that each member may remain steadfast in faith, continue growing spiritually through worship and Bible study, and experience deeper transformation through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
